BOSTON – October is really the perfect sports month. The NFL season is in full swing, the NBA and the NHL return, college sports are back, and the MLB playoffs captivate the entire audience. So what better time is there to open a new sports bar, especially one that has set a record, not just for Boston, but for the entire east coast of the United States.

The Hub on Causeway is seeing a lot of brand new offerings this year and one such location, Banners Kitchen & Tap, decided to get a head start on the expected mammoth amount of business that the Hub is slated to do. But what sets Banners Kitchen & Tap apart from the other myriad sports bars that can be found in Boston? Well, at Banners, they just so happen to have the “Dream Screen,” which is confirmed to be the biggest LED TV that you can find in a restaurant on the entire east coast.

Diagonally, the Dream Screen clocks in at an astonishing 39 and a half feet. That is a massive television screen that is going to make everyone who visits this multi-level location completely enraptured by the sports games ongoing on the screen. Just imagine watching the Super Bowl on a screen that big? Everyone in attendance might forget that they are supposed to order drinks and would instead feel like they are in a movie theater.

Of course, multiple “smaller” televisions (which are likely bigger than anything we would have in our homes) are also readily viewable for patrons who may not have the capacity to take in a screen that big.

Banners, at 25,000 square feet, is looking to make a big splash in Boston, thanks to the Dream Screen, but they also want to implement TopGolf, which is a way to play virtual sports like golf, dodgeball, football, baseball, and more. Guests of Banners are encouraged to make reservations for the TopGolf area in one hour increments.

To me, this sounds like a pretty fun place to be!
